Burr & Forman's Labor & Employment Practice Grows with the Addition of Diamond Stewart
NASHVILLE, Tenn., February 4, 2021 – Burr & Forman announces the addition of Diamond Stewart to the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group. She is a staff attorney in the firm’s Nashville office.
Diamond’s background with in-house legal departments, both small businesses and large corporations, included experience with employment, compliance, insurance, trademark, property, contract, and copyright matters. These corporations included a professional sports team, a large title lending company, and a large, company-owned convenience store group.
Diamond received her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law, where she was the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Belmont Entertainment & Music Law Journal. Her note, “Why the Emergence of Rap Music in Today’s Society Requires the Supreme Court to Reconsider Whether a Statement Amounts to a ‘True Threat,’ Not Protected by the First Amendment,” was selected for publication in the Journal.
Prior to attending law school, Diamond earned her undergraduate degree from Sewanee: The University of the South, where she was head captain of the volleyball team and the recipient of multiple All-Conference, Most Valuable Player, and Academic Honor Roll awards.
