Paul Harrill Certified as Circuit Court Mediator

Firm News

McNair Law Firm is proud to announce attorney Paul Harrill has been certified as a circuit court mediator by the South Carolina Board of Arbitrator and Mediator Certification.

Mediation is a process in which an impartial, neutral third-person helps two or more parties resolve their dispute or conflict outside the court. It can reduce costs as well as time for all parties, keep confidential some information that might otherwise be made public during litigation, and preserve business and personal relationships often damaged by lawsuits.

"Mediation provides efficiency, affordability, confidentiality, and flexibility," said Paul. "As a certified mediator, I hope to help parties reach resolutions that not only further their strategic goals, but also reduce expenses and delays, allowing them to focus their resources and time on their business."

Paul is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience in both state and federal courts. For more than 25 years, he has counseled clients in a variety of business matters, including banking and collections, real property, intellectual property, tort litigation and commercial litigation. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference.
