Overview
Jacqueline serves as a Partner in the firm's Financial Services group with a focus on financial litigation and compliance. She assists clients in matters such as foreclosures, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, compliance issues and direct filed law suits.
Jacqueline advises clients and in-house counsel in litigation arising under the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Florida Consumer Collections Practices Act, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, among others.
While studying at The University of Florida, Jacqueline was a Florida Academic Scholar and a member of Golden Key and Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Societies. She also studied abroad at both Cambridge University in Cambridge, England and Colegio Mayor Mara in Madrid, Spain. While at Tulane Law School, she was an Academic Scholarship and Sports Law Certificate recipient and received Trial Advocacy Honors. Additionally, Jacqueline contributed to the Journal of American Arbitration and held the position of Senior Case Notes Editor. She also held an active role in the Alternative Dispute Resolution and Sports Law Societies. While at Tulane, Jacqueline studied abroad at McGill University School of Law in Montreal, Canada.
