Timothy M. Zwerner

Tim has represented clients in a broad range of commercial real estate and business transactions. His real estate practice focuses on the representation of privately-held sponsors, private equity investors and institutional lenders in complex opportunities with a particular emphasis on development, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and financing (debt and equity) in the multi-family/single-family purpose-built rental sector, the agricultural and forestry industry, grocery-anchored and in-line retail centers, and the hospitality industry. His engagements regularly include the negotiation of joint venture agreements, property management agreements, and other development and asset management arrangements. Tim leads Burr’s multifamily housing team and has provided assistance on commercial real estate transactions in excess of $3 billion.

In addition, Tim works with founders, family offices, angel networks and venture funds on corporate and financing matters of emerging and growth-stage technology and manufacturing companies. He has advised companies and investors on convertible note offerings, Series Seed financings, Series A and B financings, recapitalizations and Founder secondary sales and has worked on M&A deals ranging in size from less than $10,000,000 to in excess of $150,000,000.
