Overview
Sims Rhyne is a partner in the firm's Corporate and Tax practice group. His practice focuses on all aspects of corporate law, including mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, corporate formations and reorganizations, corporate governance, contract law, and financing transactions (including angel investments, private placements, and venture capital investments).
Sims has represented clients in various industries including construction, construction materials, healthcare, information technology, investment management, manufacturing, retail, professional service, and real estate development.
Experience
- Advised Bayer Properties and its principals and subsidiaries regarding the formation and capitalization of a group of entities to redevelop the Pizitz Building (Birmingham, AL) through a combination of equity, debt and tax credit investments.
